Human resource management is about managing and developing employees. Employees are a company’s biggest resource, and they need to be cared for. Human resource management deals with hiring and firing employees, developing performance plans and performance appraisal systems, and is responsible for providing pay and benefits to their employees. Human resource management is helping employees develop and grow in a company. Human resource is a big factor in how companies operate. They need to maintain a balance of having the right amount of employees and treating them well and giving them benefits to help them stay with the company and help make the company more profitable. Human resource management is just managing a different resource of the company which happens to be humans. It’s more delicate than managing other resources because humans have feelings, and lives, and can be unpredictable.

If I had to describe what HR is all about, I would say that HR is the pillar of a business, corporation etc… HR, in my opinion, are the enforcers of all ethics and politics of the business. They maintain and keep it in order.
